This was actually a really enjoyable experience. I spent most of the time breaking down concrete with a sledge hammer and hauling it in a wheel barrel up a hill to build a turnaround spot on the trail up there.

I loved helping at the Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute. The activities we did were very fun (smashing stones and helping move them to the trail area). My brothers and I had a great time serving the community here, and I would love to do it again.

It was very fun working with the boys and the kind people at the institute! I will definitely be coming back here to do more community service in the future. I had a great time!
