After School Volunteer

The 5th graders had their own personal lesson again while every other grade was called in by year to do their lesson for the day during outside time. Planet Fitness had volunteers come out on this day and taught the kids different fun games and how to keep them active. We played telephone, red light-green light, and has races for the kids to compete in. We then decorated inside for Halloween after the kids left to surprise them for the next day.

Everyone was very welcoming and kind at the Boys and Girls Club. We started out by having snack time while the 5th graders went into another room to do lesson while the other grades learned about jealously. It was called positive acts and taught the kids while interacting on how to recognize jealously and teach them how to be positive and happy for someone instead. We then went outside and played different games like jackpot, four square, and monster trucks. We cleaned up and went inside to watch shows while parents came to pick up the rest of the kids. I look forward to learning more about the kids individually and seeing how they absorb positive acts and use them in their life.
