I am glad to say that I was able to learn valuable information in reference to my current resume and structures to abide by during the interview process. My breakout room director, Oniesha Shinault, did an excellent job of providing feedback on my resume alongside my fellow peers. Some important notes I was able to jot down were to include connecting the tasks done in my previous work and volunteering experiences to my personal skills, such as good time management and organization. In addition, I was advised to keep a black font and revert back to using an Arial font for better clarity. Moving on, utilizing the star method was a shared example of how to structure interview answers. Using strategy, detailing experiences, and strengthening communication skills are essential to perfecting the interview process. One piece of feedback I could give in reference to the virtual session is to shorten pauses between breakouts and in-person meetings to increase conversation flow and engagement.
I enjoyed the information presented.

My review on the "Connect Day" event was pretty good. My reflection is that I learned resume tips including readable font, summary/objective, and up to date contact information. I also participated by answering interview questions. My feedback is that I would like to update my resume better and learn how to communicate better with other people.
