Volunteering at U of A 2nd Annual Blood Drive

I had the opportunity to serve donors in line who were waiting to donate drinks and snacks. I also distributed T-shirts to donors

So much fun

Everyone running the event was super efficient and had jobs for us to help with the whole time and were super accommodating when I had my time to donate blood and still got to keep volunteering!

I had a great time handing out snacks/drinks and cleaning/tidying the donation space!

It was a very nice event. Fairly large and well run. There was some issues with coordinating the volunteers to certain activities. All-in-all, very good and would certainly donate more time if I were able.

My only critique would be to have some form of information on what to do when you first walk in.

I was able to direct people where to go, offer t shirts, snacks and water to individuals donating blood and helped disinfect tables in between donations.
