I learned about the importance of our community voice including in the state's budget plans. I also learned about the different candidates running for SGA president and their values for pgcc future.
they discussed a couple of topics including: a college forum, a health fair, and a holiday party on campus.
I enjoyed this event a lot. It was nice to hear what was being done on campus and I also liked the segment where they'd answer different questions that were submitted either through the chat or through the people that were physically present. I wasn't aware of the expanding to both remote and in-person courses, but it's nice to know that they're focusing on it branch by branch based on availability/the student demographic rather than just collectively adding it all at once. Doing the latter would add more strain to the professors and administration.
It was nice having Dr. Williams responding to questions we had. There were SGA personnel informing about concerns that some people had and how we can get our concerns addressed. It was a great town hall specially since it was hybrid, and I was able to log in via zoom.
I am glad I attended the virtual session of the SGA Town Hall. It was great to see students' concerns be addressed.
I didn't personally have too many questions, but attending this event did answer a lot of questions I didn't know I needed to ask. It was an all around smooth event from the virtual side.
