hello Zachary I've never met you my name is Jeffrey Thompson today I was at the Samaritan House where I was instructed as usual to help serve I was approached by several women who were trying to tell me that I needed to force food upon clients that they did not want.this did not seem fair or give dignity to the clients by not giving them a choice otherwise the food's going to be thrown out they said they did not want it just thought I'd reach out and let you know what happened today. Thank you. For I do not believe Catholic charitys do not want to shame or degrade people at the place they would not make them eat food they do not want.summary, while specific instances or situations can always vary, the overarching approach within Catholic Charities, particularly in their food assistance programs, is to prioritize client dignity and offer choices in food selection, rather than imposing items on individuals. Thank you again |
