IEW (Int'l Ed Week) Volunteers

By placing the Japanese table at the business building, we were able to interact with students who are not familiar with Japanese culture. This experience was a little bit different from what I have experienced before, since usually only those who are interested in Japanese culture come to Japanese or international events.

It was really fun!! I realized how difficult it is to teach the meaning and differences of Japanese culture and kanji. It was good practice for me to be able to explain about Japan in English.
