Soccer Nights 2025 Summer Camp

I arrived around 5:47 but it was sadly canceled at 5:53 due to inclement weather! I was looking forward to the scrimmages today and cheering everyone on, especially the kiddos I met yesterday. Wishing all the best to all the young soccer players!

I arrived at 5:45 before it was cancelled, but I am sure the scrimmage would have been enjoyable!!

I had a super fun time with the kids!! I got to help a leader teach young kids (ages 4-8) through a fun game called ”walk the dog” where they get to act as dog owners of the soccer balls, and teach them to sit, roll over, wag their tail, and to pet the dog. Each of those respectively correspond to putting our foot on the ball, rolling the ball left or right with our foot, doing tick tocks with the ball, and doing toe touches with the ball. The next level of the game was for the coaches (including me) to act as dog nappers to take their dogs to the pound. If we succeeded in getting to the pound, they would have to do 5 jumping jacks to release them. They were all amazing soccer players!
