Carpenter Art Garden Turkey Giveaway

This was my first time volunteering with Carpenter Art Garden and it was their very first Turkey Giveaway. Well, it didn’t seem like it! From start to finish, everything was very well coordinated. The families who came to retrieve their Turkeys stood in line all of about 10mins. That to me was a Good thing. Everyone moved accordingly and the volunteers were many. There volunteers helping to carry Turkeys. There were volunteers helping to get walk-ups registered and back in line. There were families excited to have their pictures taken with the Turkey Lady in costume. It was pretty good turnout and again everything was well coordinated. The clean up went off with out hitch from what I remember as well.
