[EXTERNAL REGISTRATION] New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) Volunteer

Open Opportunity

About

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS EXTERNAL. Visit https://www.nyclu.org/get-involved/volunteer to sign up.

The NYCLU works on the ground with passionate volunteers in regions across the state to protect the right to protest, defend the vote, fight for immigrants' rights, and more. Whether it's defending the vote or pressing forward on criminal legal reform, immigrants' rights, gender justice, protest protection and more, you can become active in your community for a better New York!

The NYCLU Field Organizing Team has offices and organizers across the state in eight different regions: Capital (Albany), Central (Syracuse), Genesee Valley (Rochester), Hudson Valley, NYC, Nassau, Suffolk, and Western (Buffalo).

While some of the issues impact the whole state, other priorities are localized to particular regions. There are many different ways to be involved as a volunteer!

Volunteer Positions include:

Facilitating in-person/virtual workshops and events

Being involved in policy/legislative campaign work

Taking digital action: sending emails, making calls, taking action on social media
