During this Spring semester, I gained experience in grant writing and bolstered my research and communication skills as to further my skill set for future work in the public sector. This project took place over the entire 5 months as to form this grant and was done in collaboration with the CEO and HOPE Program Director, Shelby Koshy. I am grateful and incredible appreciative of this NPO. I worked an average of 7 hours a week to complete this grant.

This project that I did for 7Hills culminated in a research paper that explored the benefits of implementing a volunteer coordinator position. This paper for the "Nonprofit Management" class lasted through the Fall semester of 2020 and generated 8 hours per week in research and rewrites as to learn more about nonprofits in addressing special interest/needs of these organizations. I received approval from the CEO of this NPO to research and submit my findings to her for this paper.
