Pagnozzi Charities is based here in Fayetteville. The mission of their Youth Sports Assistance Program is to open the door of athletic experience to disadvantaged youth. Their goal is to advance the well-being of these youth by giving them the same opportunity as their peers and introducing them to positive life experiences. The fundraising event I volunteered for was a golf tournament and seated dinner consisting of about 250 people.

This breast cancer fundraising event was hosted by the Chase Family Foundation. Included a light dinner and a cash bar that I assisted in serving. We collected new and lightly used bras for a couple local establishments: Peace at Home and Northwest Arkansas Woman’s Shelter. Ascendant DX, based in Springdale, was present collecting tear samples for beast cancer research. For each sample collected, 5 dollars was donated to the Chase Family Foundation.

Nolan Richardson’s charity has been helping raise money for children's leukemia by hosting an auction and golf tournament for the past three decades, and counting. Richardson lost his daughter YVonne to the cancer when she was just a teenager.
