During this impact, I helped with Marathon to Miracles, which was an event benefiting the hospital with a goal of raising $14,106 in 26.2 hours. In this time, I worked in a "hype room"", which was designed to help other participants fundraise, cooked corn dogs, and sold those corn dogs on Dickson St. later that evening. By the end of the marathon, we raised $15,714.42 for the kids!!!

At the Fayetteville Public Library, the Pre-Vet club spoke to kids about becoming a vet and showed them how rewarding it can be. We also made crafts and introduced them to a sweet dog from the local animal shelter! It was a great experience to lighten up the day because I remember being little and wanting to learn more about those typical dream jobs we all had at 10 years old. The library was also great in keeping everything organized and making sure the kids were where they needed to be and ensuring we had all we needed.
