We spent the day helping Mrs. Conley, among other volunteers, handout goods that were much needed to the underprivileged in the community. We spent majority of the day sorting clothing and helping to organize other things that many in the community are in desperate need of. I found the day to be very rewarding.
I spent the day making Christmas ornaments and various other decorations for children in need in my community. I found this very rewarding because of the joy that it will bring, and knowing that in some small way I was helpful in creating a Christmas memory for these children. I also enjoyed spending time with the other people that were volunteering and sharing my own Christmas memories with them. Overall, I found myself very thankful for the role I played in making the holiday season better for those that are less fortunate. I will definitely be volunteering again in the future.
