Monday was a chill day in college mentors. We wrote letters to friends and family as a fundraising opportunity, colored pictures, and watched Disney+.
Talked with the members here, played in a snowball fight with one of the kids, organized the toy room, and cleaned out the fridges for them
Today NESTT came in and had set up an escape room for us. It was very enjoyable as it was very interactive. A lot of the little buddies enjoyed how it was themed around Mario saving Princess Peach
Talked about study abroad opportunities in college, different careers in different countries, and the types of things you can study abroad. The buddies also made passports and went around the room to get 'stamps' from other countries
Met with buddies and discussed the ROTC. We went through different obstacles, made dog tags, and discussed the different branches of the military
Went to the Albany Elementary School and met with our little buddies. Talked about their interests, met with their parents, and of course ate ice cream
