Online!-- typing EARLY TYPED NEWSPAPERS into WORD doc. or Cursive, Handwritten Letters into Word

White Springs Ranch is an excellent place to donate my time. Diane is amazing and always looking for help to get some community service hours.

I was tasked with converting a journal article from 1952 to a word document for my recent volunteer work, and it was a new experience for me. It is very interesting to see how differently people spoke back then, and it is always a pleasure volunteering for Diane at White Springs Ranch. I first went there in the fall of 2019 for volunteer work and will continue to work there in the coming years as Diane is super responsive and always looking for some help!

Donate Meals to Individuals Experiencing Homelessness in Seattle!

Was unable to volunteer in person due to summer classes and work, so I chose to donate online with the target wish list which was quick and easy for an hour of community service.

Rebroadcast: Public Square Discussion on Mental Health in a Pandemic

Mental health has been a huge talking point for people in my community as it has been really hard to cope with the pandemic. I really enjoyed this lecture.

Rebroadcast Public Square on Fake News: Is Disinformation Destroying Democracy?

I enjoyed this public square, as the majority of the news we receive on the media we don't have any way of knowing if it was real or fake news. Informing people of the possibility of all their news not being the most reliable is important in not taking the wrong side of an opinion or event.
