I volunteered at the Central Arkansas Heart Ball for the American Heart Association in Little Rock, Arkansas. I was able to help with the photo booth, the auction, and the silent auction during this event.

I attended Lobby Day at the capitol in Little Rock, Arkansas. I was able to sit on a panel discussion with two other advocates. This was hosted by Allison Hogue, and she asked us questions about how to speak about public policy issues that are important to us. We also went and spoke directly to our lawmakers from our district and talked to them about current AHA public policy issues.
I wrote a letter to a St. Jude's patient for Valentine's Day!
I hosted the "National Wear Red Day" event for the American Heart Association at ZTA. I did a small presentation and had them all wear red so that the American Heart Association could post that all over their social media.
I did the student survey for one service hour!
I conducted a service project for my sorority with the American Heart Association. I was able to make our members knowledgeable about heart health and the different ways to prevent it. The AHA in Central Arkansas gave me a service project which was having our members take videos of themselves to send to our representatives and senators about making sure that children are getting proper lunches every single day at school. I think they learned a lot, and i had so much fun conducting this effort.
This is for my second semester serving as Vice President for Epsilon. This was the most rewarding experience, and the second semester was even better than the first. I had so much fun being able to lead 75 Programs Council members. My mom has always told me to "lead up," and I was really excited that one of my PC members turned out to be the new President of Epsilon as one of the youngest presidents. The big events for this semester were Dad's Day, Homecoming, Pep Rallys, Silver Dollar City Sisterhood, and Zemi. I am so honored that my peers elected me as VP I, and I wish I could do it all over again!
I had the best time attending The Heart Spark event in North Texas. I was able to be a speaker for them and helped set up and take down for the event. I was able to talk about Tobacco 21 and how I have seen nicotine effect the younger generations. There are so many ways that we can combat this issue, and it takes teenagers or younger kids to step up and have a voice for what is going on in their community.
Our president and I took cereal boxes to LifeSource from Zeta Tau Alpha. We had over 1,000 boxes to donate to them!

Here is the link to my vlog which also has an intro into what me and Sophe were able to discuss! She is an advocate that is working in Little Rock, Arkansas at Arkansas Children's Hospital. We discussed advocacy and our WHY for the AHA.
