Stuart Fletcher

I volunteered at 7Hills Homeless Center to help serve the homeless community around Fayetteville. I helped by serving meals for the people that came in and by bringing in donations that were delivered to the center. Serving 7Hills was an eye-opening view into the homeless community in Fayetteville and it has put in me the desire to help in any way that I can, whether that be through the giving of my time or resources.

I volunteered with my fraternity Beta Upsilon Chi to repaint the interior of the Yvonne Richardson Community Center building, which provides free extracurricular learning and recreation for Fayetteville's community. Our service helped the workers at the YRCC by completing a time consuming task that was much needed. It was an awesome experience to serve the YRCC and I was able to see the benefits of team work.
