I volunteered at the University Presbyterian Church on 2203 San Antonio Street between 22nd and 23rd Street. It was a fun experience! the people were so nice. I help set up the pantry so that people in the homeless low income could come in and get the food they wanted. It felt so awesome helping out the low income people. They do this every Thursdays and Saturdays and I would do it again!

I had so much fun looking for the books that the inmates requested. It made me feel happy that I got to help someone who is probably going through a difficult time. Reading the inmates letters and getting to know some of their stories was very touching. I would definitely recommend this to everybody because it was fun and you are helping other people who need someone.
It was so much fun! I went with some friends and they gave us a map and sticky notes so that we could go to our specific assigned building. Our mission was to turn off all the lights to conserve energy. We had fun and there were so many lights to turn off. I never knew we used so much energy but overall it was a great experience!
I had an amazing experience volunteering for the Captial Area Food Bank! I wrote down labels and checked the frozen food to see if it was still good. There were a lot of volunteers and I'm just happy I could help families in need of food. We boxed over 1000 meals today. I am blessed to have had the chance to experience this event!
I had a blast! I volunteered as a trail ambassador and I would escort the people around the trail. If people needed to ask a question I would provide them with an answer. I met the producer of the trail of lights and he was so cool. I also met this lady that volunteered for the trail of lights for more than 15 years and she loved it. Overall my experience was great!
This experience was so amazing! I volunteered with a couple of my friends and we had a blast! When we got there we helped set up chairs and tables which was pretty fun considering the fact that we got to meet people from UT as well. My friends and I were then separated into different booths to stand and view the items being sold at the silent auction. I met so many people and the best part was that I met this lady who had Parkinson but she was so positive about it. This lady was so sweet she always had a smile on her face. I also met this neurosurgeon which was so cool! If I could volunteer for this event I would say definitely yes!
