I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon serving at the 479 food pantry once again. My work consisted of helping the Spanish-speaking clients that needed assistance through the pantry. I helped provide them clarity on the process, showed them the products, packed their bags, and above all provided them with a smile and conversation. Thank you for this opportunity, 479 team!

The Clinic CEO, Amanda, reached out and said she needed volunteers to help guide patients while the clinic was under construction. I stood by the door, opening it for the guests, asking them whether they were there for a dental or medial appointment, and then guiding them to that location since the office spaces had been changed. During the time I spent walking with the patients I was able to converse with them to make them feel welcome.
