At Nurse Science day I was in charge of many different obligations. I got there at 8 to set up decorations for the event and make ballon arches. After that I helped people who had research projects and made sure they had everything they needed. I did other small things as well but overall I loved the opportunity because I was able to meet so many inspirational people while volunteering!

Karson @ Jenkins Memorial Center
Jenkins Memorial Center is a place that serve the needs of Arkansans with developmental disabilities and their families. The center was opened to help provide care and education to children with physical and developmental challenges. Growing up my brother went to a place like Jenkins memorial and seemed help for learning and developmental disabilities. My dad now runs this facility on Tuesday me and my brother were able to go down to the facility and volunteer and help in the classrooms and the teachers and other staff members with anything they needed before the kids went to thanksgiving break.

I donated even more to Pack the Pantry since their is such a need and thanksgiving is around the corner.
