Today I got to enjoy the beautiful, sunny day by cleaning up trash at Fayetteville's local parks. First, I crossed the Frisco trail and headed to Wilson Park. There was quite a bit of trash that I got to pick up near the pickleball courts. My journey took 2 hours, so I headed home and grabbed some lunch! After lunch, I drove to Gulley park and walked around the grounds of the park, cleaning up the space. I ventured on to the Niokasaka Creek Trail and Sweet Briar Park. The walk took about an 1.5 hours, but it went by so quickly because I brought along a friend. What a great way to enjoy my Sunday!

Emma Starr and I had a great time picking up trash at Lake Fayetteville. It was so nice outside and we got a great walk in as well! On the walk, we made sure all trail users abided by the trail rules. Emma Starr and I's favorite friendship activity has now become trash cleanup!
