Today I had the chance to learn how to harvest vegetable and herbs to be delivered to Mimi's Pantry. We also began the drying process for other plants.
I enjoyed being able to water all the plants on a warmer day and re-pot smaller plants that needed more room to grow.
This week we worked on assembling a Tower Garden, as well as watering plants.
I had fun assisting with creating wall layout related to Women's History Month.
I got to revisit the Victory Garden and assisted with assembling Solar panels, watering current projects such as mushrooms, and we worked to make sure that campus wildlife did not eat the growing plants.
This visit to PAWS Atlanta, I got to take dogs out of their kennels and aid in their daily routine by walking them, brushing them, and petting them.
I got to come together and vote for Spelman to be a part of the retool your school program.
