During this menstrual kit workshop, we focused strictly on creating the inner liners. There was a station for tearing the fabric, a station for cutting it, and a station for outlining / creating the pattern. We also learned about the general crisis of period poverty and how this RSO aims to tackle it.
I heard from Kristina, Anna, and Evan concerning trail clean ups, water decontamination, litter, and more. I learned several ways to help the local land.
I listened to the zoom, where several women spoke about their careers and ways that we can get plugged in after we graduate.
The online service hour was filled by several women who each pitched the nonprofit that they worked for, and provided helpful ways that we can get involved in them.
I completed an ASG-related survey, discussing my satisfaction with University-provided resources and facilities, as well as current problems our campus faces.
I helped by picking up clothes from the floor, fixing hangers, and tidying up items.
