This was my first time volunteering at the Oregon Food Bank Headquarters, and it went great! Our work consisted of relabeling packages that had misprinted information (the packaging said "gluten-free" when there actually contained gluten). Chatting with other volunteers and making an impact with a large group was a fun way to spend a Thursday afternoon!
This was my first time volunteering with the Oregon Food Bank, and it was great! We packaged lots of veggies and sorted food for online pick-up orders. I will definitely be interested in future events.
Had an awesome time cleaning up around Ventura Park Elementary and the nearby neighborhood area. Just in time for back to school!
Volunteered at another downtown clean up near the Benson Hotel! The weather was beautiful and the 2 hours flew by as I picked up lots of cigarette butts and food wrappers. I’m looking forward to my next event with SOLVE!
The weather was perfect for cleaning around the North Park Blocks! Sunshine, birds chirping, and a decent amount of trash to keep me busy makes for another great volunteer event.
Another great Downtown clean-up in the books! I love volunteering with SOLVE - they make the process so smooth and safe. Show up, grab your supplies, and start picking up garbage!
The April downtown clean-up was initially scheduled on the 13th, but due to severe weather conditions, it got moved to the 29th. This was my fourth time volunteering with SOLVE, and it was just as fun and fulfilling as the first time. Lots of cigarette butts and food wrappers were picked up today!
