The after-school program was really nice! There weren't many kids who attended so I could talk to all the kids on a personal level! Many of the kids didn't stay at the after-school program for more than an hour. The buses dropped the kids off at different times.

I observed the students in the after-school program. This afterschool program is designed for staff and volunteers to assist students with their homework, give out snacks, do arts and crafts, or read a book. My observations were in the afternoon during the week from 2-6 pm. The after-school program has a guided schedule for them to follow but it ranges daily depending on what time the kids get there.

I enjoyed making letters for healthcare workers. I know that their jobs are difficult and can be challenging. It's important to let healthcare workers know that we are extremely appreciative of their time and work.
