ER escort, this was my second time here but there were a lot of friendly people to help me out. It was lovely talking to the people, and I got to escort some of them more than once!

First day was an ER escort at the VA. It was short and my orientation took up most of the time. Everyone was very nice and showed me what tasks I'd be expected to do and where I would need to go.

This event was satisfying. The event organizers were super friendly and make sure to brief all the volunteers on where we would be focusing this trip's energy and provided samples of the plant species we would be removing. The hours flew by.

The professor was very passionate about his work, a quality I really admire. He gave a thorough and comprehensive presentation over food insecurity, food waste, and the consequences of how our unsustainable system would impact the future. He even told us about his current research!
