I really enjoyed prepping and painting a playhouse with Habitat for Humanity. I had a great team that thoroughly helped with the entire process and we were amazed with the outcome of our work! I can only imagine how happy the children will be with their new Aggie Themed Playhouse.

I began drafting this service project over the summer. September came around and I began emailing any organization I could find in the Greensboro area that would accept donations. The Women’s Resource Center, Guilford Green Foundation, and Room at the Inn were willing to work with me and provide me with what their organization needed. For the months of October through November, I held the drive and began organizing the clothes. December is when I went out and personally delivered approximately 6-7 bags to EACH organization. The experience was foundational to creating great bonds with the organizations with hopes of future partnerships.

I was able to collect and donate 5+ bags to the organization through the Bargain Box. Ms. Hope and her team were beyond helpful. I look forward to working with them again through my community service project “Still In Style”

I loved dressing up and seeing all of the creative costumes. It felt good to see a safe gathering for a regular tradition. Staff and volunteers were more than helpful and I look forward to working with everyone again next year!
