I helped the French Teacher at my old high school remove stuff from her walls, cleaned the classroom and white boards, and reorganized everything for an entire day. I had a great time and it felt really rewarding getting to help out.

Getting to volunteer at Potters House was a fun experience and the time went by fast because Savannah, Isabel, and I were put to work as soon as we got there and we stayed busy the entire time. I would volunteer there again because I enjoyed feeling like I was actually helping out the workers there.
The second time I visited home, I went to Liberty High School to offer tutoring sessions to students that were either struggling in French or just wanted to review. I loved getting to do this because it was extremely rewarding getting to help out in any way I could.
While I was back home, I helped grade French exams, quizzes, and homework since I am fluent in the language. This experience helped me gain a greater appreciation for teachers and the time they spend just on grading alone.
