Really fun to see the garden and help pull weeds as well as clean the greenway. I didn’t know how long it was supposed to last but me and my friend picked up a lot of trash and got back late. Overall a really fun time!

    Purple Pantry Volunteer Orientation (Virtual)
    Town Creek Culvert Litter Cleanup

This was my first of many volunteer opportunities with ECU sustainability. The event was really fun and I had the opportunity to meet new people and faculty as well as get to know already acquaintances. Seeing the green infrastructure and the planning of planning the culvert was eye opening and increased my passion of sustainability and speaking up when it comes to rectifying urban problems to protect the environment.
