While at the Atlanta Community Food Bank in the Community Food Center Packing & DIstribution, I enjoyed shopping for the Atlanta community and taking their groceries to the car. It gave me a sense of inspiration and joy because I loved picking the various food options and putting them in their boxes. It made me feel like I was their shopper, and I liked how I made it convenient for them to get their groceries, especially since some of them were elderly.

While at the Atlanta Community Food Bank in the Hunger Action Center, I felt inspired to come back and help more people struggling with food insecurity. While I was checking the expiration date of the food, I felt proud that I was making sure none of the families received expired food. This experience truly taught me what food insecurity is and how my work and other volunteers impact the entire Atlanta community.

During my time at the Atlanta Community Food Bank in the Community Food Center Packing & Distribution, I enjoyed packing boxes of food for the families and ensuring the correct quantity of food was in the box. My experience there was delightful, and I plan on returning there more often and helping to distribute food to the families in the Atlanta community.
