I donated 15 cans to the New Beginnings food pantry. Every 5 cans counts as 1 volunteer hour. As I went and dropped off the cans, I made sure the food library was organized and clean.
I helped pick up trash around the pro shop and parking lot.
I got to help volunteer for the FFA horse judging competition. I served as a group leader for the different age groups and was in charge of directing them to certain places and observing them in case of assistance. I also helped set up and clean up the lunch that was provided.
I collected 30 travel sized toothbrushes, shampoo & conditioner bottles, sunscreen, and body wash and donated it to the Global Medical and Dental Brigades. I turned my items in at the Chi Omega house.
We helped organize and separate items on the kitchen shelves.
I posted on my social media to spread autism awareness!
I had to fill out a poll in order to inform the University of Arkansas in ways they can better our campus and its opportunities.
We set up for the animal science fall fest haunted house. In a group, we got to build witch hats and stick lights in them so that they could hang from the ceiling. We also put spider webs all along the ground and set up little decorations all over.
We identified lots of lights on our campus that need maintenance. It was so fun to work with a random group of people and walk around campus together during this service opportunity.
