Nithi Salian

Lead an orientation for EAs to learn about DC Reads and how to be an effective tutor to children and also talk about the mission of DC Reads. Additionally, had office hours to allow my EAs to come and ask any questions and address concerns that they have. I also conducted interviews and held a monthly meeting with the entire Higher Achievement team. I also reviewed the slides from the asynchronous TL meeting and gauged what gaps needed to filled with our EAs.

Met with Cooper and Sean to check in on Brooke and I's teams. With Sean we discussed expectations for the EAs and a game plan for the future year. Also had a meeting with Brooke to get on the same page about GroupMe, monthly meetings, etc.
