I helped the Notre Dame Club of Dallas put together reusable bags for women who are in a shelter for domestic abuse. We hosted this event at our house and I helped sort the toiletry bags and pass them out while others went around filling them up with basic necessities (deoderant, hair ties, travel shampoo and body wash, and so many other things) that the women in these shelters don't have access to. Getting to do this every year is such a blessing because I know how much of a difference it makes to have these bags and to help these women feel good about themselves in such a small way makes the biggest difference in their lives.

I loved buying items for another girl to help build her confidence in small ways. Things such as mascara and even perfume can have a huge impact on how she sees herself which can have a lasting impact on her confidence!
