On Wednesday I volunteered for two hours. We celebrated one of the students birthdays with cupcakes which was fun! After this, Mr. D taught the teens about job applications and the importance of knowing your information. At the end of the day the kids participated in track and field activities.

On monday I volunteered for 2 hours. I was paired with the teens where we went outside and played for the first half of the day. After being outside we went into the computer lab for them to play on the computers.

On Monday I volunteered for 2 hours and was paired with the teens. I wrote cards to the Children's Hospital and to Mr. Richardson with the kids. After that I helped the teens decorate jewelry boxes. At the end of the day I helped lead a game of tic-tak-toe relay and it was really fun!

I volunteered for 2 hours on Thursday and got to play with the teens outside. I also got to help with the littles and middles in their STEM lesson. I helped one little design and build her catapult and she loved it!

I volunteered for 2 hours at the YRCC and was placed with the teens. We started with snack time and then went outside for the first 45 minutes. While outside I played kickball and basketball with the kids. After being outside we went inside to the computer lab where they got to play games. They also got popsicles which they loved. I learned how to redirect the teens when they get too competitive while playing.

During these two hours I was paired with the teens. I interacted with them during snack time. We then went to the computer lab where they could play games or just hangout. After the computer lab we went outside for the last 30 minutes for them to play.
