We learned and talked about mental health and social media. Along with what a perfectionist may feel, like being very critical of one's self, procrastinating, avoiding things, etc. That some things you might have to do is accept that you are good enough, be kind to yourself, view opportunities as challenges to improve and learn, and to acknowledge small victories. True perfection isn't possible, and that's ok. That we've grown and aren't the same as we were and that's ok. Something that I can do is seek positive content when on the phone. "We are the best at who we are."

I learned several ways to make an appointment on navigate, along with how to check who my advisor is. We will also have progress reports to do soon. We also talked about the differences between dropping a class and withdrawing a class and what consequences come from doing both.
I played jackbox with other students and watched others play Mario party. It was fun to see the different games that people were playing. It was nice to relax after my class ended and I might buy some of the games that I saw today.
This event was the Paint and Sip. I helped with setting up the event, like putting up lights and setting the tables and chairs. I had fun painting and chatting with my friend. It was interesting seeing what other people were making and everyone had really nice art. I helped put things away and made sure the chairs were put away.
I met new people, relaxed, and played some games with them. It was fun and shows how just starting a simple conversation can lead to a lot of opportunities. I got to know other people and share some of the games that I like to play with them.
I helped with the preparations, like the snacks and setting up the games on the tables. I had fun and met new people. I played uno and listened to others perform. Overall, it was a good experience, and I had a lot of fun. I also put tables and chairs back to where they were supposed to be at the end of the CAB event.
For the academic recovery session, I learned that I should attend 2 of the mini sessions and to get 15 hours. If I wanted to, I could attend all 5 sessions. And to gain hours, I should check givepulse, however not all school events are listed there. So it would be a better idea to go to the school to look and see what events may be happening. It'll be easier to add engagement hours when the event is already on givepulse instead of putting it in manually. If you're not attending an event, cancel, since another person might be able to go instead. Check GroupMe as well. If the engagement hours don't meet the criteria or requirements, they'll be disputed. Seeing all the requirements, Ialso would like to talk to a scholarship advisor, since I believe I have 15 hours from the fall.
For the refresh session, it was a review of some of the things that I know, along with some new things that I've learned. Some things that I knew were what does and doesn't count for hours, like classes, work, and something you're being paid to do doesn't count for those hours, but clubs, and attending pgcc events do count. Or because of the amount of classes I have before I graduate, I don't need to take extra classes to try and get the 30 credit requirement. Some new things that I learned were academic and program requirements were different, that this will be the last semester for volunteering, and impact hours are being called engagement hours, since it reflects engaging with the community. There's also some events that I would like to attend, like the mini sessions or some of the different clubs that are going on around the school.
I learned a lot about d&d and how to play it. I also met some people who has the same interest as me. And since I've played it and got help from others, I think I can probably teach it to my friends as well.
I learned more about civic engagement and people who are legislators and what they do. That they are the ones that make laws. And I learned more about one of our Maryland legislators, Ashanti Martinez.
