There was less trash there than I remember, but we really cleaned up that side of the lake so I don’t suggest sending anyone there for some time.
It wasn’t bad, I preferred cleaning up the west of the lake better because it was prettier and I felt like I was making more of a difference. How ever the east side definitely needed cleaning, and still needs more, we just ran out of time. I would also recommend moving the animals, they were very stinky.
It was very eye opening, I didn’t realize we had that much trash around the city. It was muddy so that was unfortunate but the people saying thank you to us made up for it. I would definitely suggest more people to go to lake Fayetteville to clean, especially in the woods area because there was tons of trash in there. The baseball fields were already pretty clean, and when there was trash it was tiny stuff like wristbands and stuff so it was hard to fill trash bags with stuff from there.
