I worked at South Knox Elementary with “Little Chefs Big Change” to help cook meals with students after school. We helped them cook pasta, bruschetta, and bread. The experience was unique and very organized and I would attend again.

I volunteered at Off Leash K9 Training, where I assisted trainers during an obedience session and helped with basic tasks like setting up equipment, organizing training materials, and observing dog behavior. I also interacted with clients by helping manage different dogs during the session and ensuring a safe, positive environment. This experience helped me develop communication skills, patience, and a better understanding of animal behavior and training techniques.
It was so wonderful to work for this organization and a great learning experience as well. I cleaned kennels all day and walked/played with the dogs. It was so fun and I would definitely go back!
I bought frozen meals to bring to the Samaritan Place as a donation they have requested from volunteers for the dinner shift.
At ETCH, I volunteered with some other members of my sorority and played with some of the children and met their families. We helped them make bracelets as well as stuffed animals. The experience at ETCH was amazing and really special getting to meet the kids and doctors there.
