Mason and I were the only volunteers there to give the school supplies here. Despite this hurdle, we both were filled with energy; we locked in and delivered over 15 or so boxes of school supplies by ourselves. I had a great time being there and was glad I could have made a difference and give those young students what they need to further their education!

Folding tickets while talking to the other volunteers was incredibly enjoyable. We threw on some TV and went to town on those tickets!
I was helping move the brush out of the extra parking lot space, and it was a lot of fun. The people there, such as Kel and Jennifer, were so knowledgeable and sweet to me. They even gave me a tour of all the facilities, it was my first time there but I'd definietly would come back.
Surprisingly, when I went there was not much litter to pick up. So instead, they had us switch over to the habitat restoration, and it was lots of fun. It was my first time being stung by a wasp, but I did not let that disuade me! They kept offering bug spray, water, and snacks, which was really nice of them.
Absolutely loved the conversation I had with Carlos about the Spurs today. I was also able to help with some technological issues one of the seniors had, despite the language barrier! Some of the Spanish I had hidden in the depths of my mind came out.
I had a lot of fun helping others set up and problem-solving for those who needed it. I was also the guy promoting the merch by proactively engaging with others, creating a chant, and showing off the shirts. It was awesome to provide and would absolutely do it again.
It was very chill to be able to provide food for the seniors! Would absolutely do it again.
