It was very fun. I had to do 2 tour guides which was pretty interesting because I was asked intriguing questions about my experience at PGCC. I also played some arcade games which were complicated at first but fun. I also joined a fun dance class, especially with my dance teacher Mr. Veiga.
Overall, this meeting didn't meet my expectations because my major is performing art study which is dance. However, the information given was very interesting. I liked the Motorola company session. I liked what they do as a company and it's honestly encouraging to maybe take a part-time job for this company.
My experience was overall, very good. There were some words that the speaker said that stuck with me. After today, I realized I do have imposter syndrome because I feel like I don't belong anywhere. This session today was an eye-opener for me. I like the icebreaker where we had to our group an event that we remember that has brought us joy. I like hearing other people's stories, it was very interesting.
This meeting was overall very informative. I learned the components and requirements of the organization of WOW. The components are Scholarships, Volunteer and Community Services Opportunities, Community Resources, Financial Literacy, Personal Growth and Leadership skills, Intrusive Advising, and Career Readiness. The requirements are easy to understand but I do have more questions.
Hello, this meeting was overall very informative, I couldn't stay for the last 15 min because I had a class. What I saw was that different senators with different ideas and perspectives like a new gym, updating the study rooms, and figuring out how to reward students for their attendance. There are also many summer activities, and clubs coming up. I mostly look forward to the spring formal because I want to dress nicely and spend a fun time with my friends. Overall, this meeting was very interesting, and fun to hear all these new ideas taking place at PGCC.
Overall, this session was pretty alright. I liked how engaging the activities were especially when all of use were in a circle introducing ourselves to one another and getting to know new people. I loved the information that was being given because it helped me in getting to know about the transferring process. Overall, this event was very informative, engaging and fun. I also loved how they gave snacks in the beginning because I was really hungry after class.
Hello, this event was pretty cool, even though we started a little late. I was passing out tickets in the front and I also helped students to register before entering from the front. I also helped with decorations at the event. Everything was fun, engaging, and outgoing and I met a lot of new people, just didn't like how they didn't assign roles and some didn't even know what to do. We always had to ask the person responsible what to do every time which was a little annoying, just keeping it real. I do recommend assigning everyone roles and everyone going through with it. Thanks for the opportunity
This meeting in my opinion was very informative. It really helped me understand what to do more and what I need to do while I am on this scholarship. I needed those extra events as well to attend for my hours.
I really enjoyed my time there. I really learned a lot about other career opportunities, however, I am a little sad that none of them matched my career of interest. However, I am good and I learned a lot.
