I had a great time volunteering with the EECS department! It was very welcoming and it was a fun challenge to help clean up the computer science supplies from the event!

I had never given blood before, but when I heard that the university was holding a blood drive I wanted to sign up. My grandma had 3 blood transfusions when she had cancer, so she has always been a huge proponent of donating, because it really does save lives. Everyone I talked to was really nice and I was glad to have the opportunity to help someone out.
