It was another successful meeting. We learned about networking and personal branding. Networking in conclusion to us was basically a path to opportunities and personal branding is how people view you when they hear your name. It's important to get to know people and how you represent yourself.
We spoke about our 5 year plan and what exactly to include in them. Then we further improved it by talking over it with each other.
It was a very informative session. We had a special guest that helped us know all about the FAFSA and the MHEC. How to apply, what are the requirements to be eligible for them and the deadlines.
It was a great meeting. We talked about our visions. Professional, personal, financial, physical, and emotional wellness visions. Also a 5 year plan, whether it be our accomplishments or just goals in general. Lastly preparation for the presentation to win $1000.
This was an informative session explaining all of the requirements and process to transfer to any 4 year universities. Also provided some scholarships that we can apply for.
This was a great event as always. It was good to see the DMSI team, shoutout Heat, Ross, Katrina and Chazz. And shoutout to everyone who participated. We talked about the importance and benefits of DMSI and briefed over future DMSI gathering dates and what to expect this semester.
We went through the basic steps of Givepulse hours and how to make an impact so the SSP staff members are able to verify our impacts. It was a very simple and efficient meeting that informed many new college students and will be able to help them complete their 15 hours.
It was a great refreshment meeting, met a lot of familiar faces, shoutout to Elio, Kim, and Chantia. They talked about what was needed to stay in the SSP, hours, grades, etc. Looking forward to another year with everyone and a good start to 2024.
It was a great game as always, I went with a few friends to support the home team!
