The meeting was very informative. They gave updates on what community hours they'll accept and how many meetings we have to attend as requirements for the scholarship. It was very interactive and fun!
We had a discussion in regards to the new policies and overall questions that students had. the kahoot was a nice activity to ensure that everyone understood what was said, Overall, i enjoyed the meeting.
Rachel and I helped set up the tables for this event and were in charge of the check-in station. Interacting with many students and seeing them in the holiday spirit was fun. The snacks were good and overall I think it was a wonderful event. I can't wait to see what next semester brings!
This event was the Memorial 9/11 Day of Service Food event. It was very inspirational to see many scholars get together for a good cause. Despite running low on the food needed, the coordinators were able to preserve and reach their goal.
