I got a refresher as to what the requirements are for the scholarship. Although this is my last semester, I am glad I got to be apart of this program and I will definitely recommend those who attend PGCC in the future to sign up.

I learned about the two different types of stress. I also learned new techniques on how to manage stress. It is important to take breaks every once in a while to not overwork yourself too much.
I got a refresher on how to use give pulse. As well as what counts as hours for PGCC and what don't. I learned that only one of the multiple mini sessions count. So, I know to make sure which I sign up for.
I got more insight as for what STRIVE does for students. There are many opportunities to join other students and share with one another. We can also give advising and help with transfer, which can help me a lot.
There was a kahoot that helped us refresh on what the requirements are to continue with promise scholarship. I am graduating soon so it helped me remember that 30 credits may not apply to me. It also helped me remember ways I can get engagement hours.
I helped with the check in for the new promise scholars. As well as taking Group A to their next meetings after the ice breaker.
I helped out with decorations and setting up gifts for the new faculty members with great members from promise scholarship.
I got a refresher for how Fall semester will be like and also got questions answered about summer semester.
I organized files for 1st and 2nd grade.
I got to learn how impactful social media can towards ourselves. Many of us spend a lot of time on our phones and it’s important to have more control over it.
