I assisted the workers at Potter's House Thrift by helping them organize the stock and by helping them clean up the store. From my service, not only did the workers and the store benefit from my service, but so did the hundreds of customers there, as my efforts allowed them to find the items they wanted to find much more easily. From this experience, I learned how valuable thrift stores are to the community and how meaningful it is to support them through donations and volunteer work.

It was alright, all you do is just help a thrift store reorganize, staff are nice, they have many task to keep you busy

I volunteered at Potter's House Thrift during their Tidying The Thrift event, At the store, I not only helped the very kind staff there, but also some other volunteers, and customers. I was tasked with moving and hauling heavy objects as well as reorganizing shelves and other materials. From this service I was able to help a local thrift store when they were short of manpower, as well I was able to learn to communicate better and be a better leader.
