My volunteer service at the Capital Area One Food Bank was great. I took part in the production of packing food boxes for people 60 and above facing food insecurity in the DMV area. My job was to tape the boxes once the food was packed. We packed over 500 boxes during that service.
My experience as a judge was wonderful. I got to view kids' science experiments about social media, color recognition, product designs, and more. All of the projects I viewed were insightful. My service portion was online as the projects were sent to me and I filled out the judging forms through an online platform, Google Docs. I will attach some of the projects I viewed.
