I drove to Elkins and set up Lindsay and my stations and helped set up the food station for Elkins Family Night. We then connected our playlist to the speakers and practiced our line dances one last time before families began showing up. We facilitated our activity stations during the event. After the event we helped take down all of the stations and clean up the cafeteria.

Lindsay and I practiced line dances that we are considering doing for our line dancing station to ensure we knew the dances well and that they could be done to several different songs. We decided on three different dances we want to do, and then updated the music playlist. I then confirmed that we can use the Elkins speakers. I searched for where to buy dirt for our sensory bin. I then added links to the Box for both the rubber worms and dirt.
Lindsay and I met with you, to discuss our progress for Elkins Family Night. We discussed what needs to be purchased for our stations and what we already have. We searched for the different materials and ensured that we have everything listed and updated on the Box that we will need. We ended talking about what our next steps are before Elkins Family Night on the 14th.
Lindsay and I visited the Elkins Family Night storage closet to see what materials we could use for our stations and what we will need to purchase. We also decided on a more finalized plan for what each of our stations will operate. We also discussed how we want to set our stations up and how we want them to look and if additional materials are required for that. I then did more research on popular line dances that we could do for the line dancing station.
Lindsay and I met to work on our stations for Elkins Family Night. We created a playlist for our line dancing station as well as to play in the background during the night. We ensured that the music added to the playlist was clean and family friendly. We then looked online for line dances and attempted to learn some in order to teach others for our line dancing station. We then planned a time to visit the supply closet to create our list of needed materials
We met to discuss planning Elkins Family Night. During this meeting I learned more in depth the structure of Elkins Family Night, what sort of activities have been done in the past, and brainstormed ideas we can implement this year. We decided on a theme and finalized the different stations we'll have for the night.
