I assisted the Television, Film, Radio, and Podcast sessions during Content Creator Day by directing students to the appropriate classes and helping the TV Production sessions manage multiple teams. This gave me useful insight into event planning, management, and supervision.
During the business showcase, I assisted at the front desk area and helped clean up the front desk at the end of the event.
The event was nice. The presentation was concise, and the group activity helped reinforce the information. After attending the event, I'm inspired to look more closely into more than one 4-year school to ensure I know the best paths available.
During this scholarship session, I was reminded of the different programs, organizations, and services the college offers that may benefit students and assist them in maintaining their scholarships and getting their degrees. The information provided on tutoring was especially helpful.
I helped with a chat and paint activity in the Georgetown Library. I helped attendees access paint supplies and gave advice on mixing colors.
