I mentor 3 special needs students! I took them to play pickleball! We had so much fun. I meet with them 2 times a week, an hour each time. It is the most rewarding experience!
I attended 2 meetings back to back for empower on Friday. As well as meeting with my 2 students for our Tuesday morning session. I took them to their favorite place tropical smoothie. We had so much fun as always! Empower is so rewarding to me in so many ways! In our meeting we have been planning for the event we will be having this Friday for the students!

I had an amazing time at the empower fall fling. I was not only able to see the students have fun, I was able to take pictures for them, and hangout with them. Empower is so rewarding. While the event took time to plan and get everything ready for it, it turned out amazing and seeing their excitement was the best!
My experience with the empower program has been so impactful. It has helped me grow as a person with patience, understanding, and having a better understanding of different people and there challenges. Since the first week of school I have had the blessing of mentoring 3 hours a week as well as other meetings and events through the program.
