I spent the afternoon at one of Pullmans Middle Schools where I helped pack food bags for students in need. By chatting with the leaders of this program I was able to understand more about what it takes to run a successful community outreach program, and what you need to keep it going. I was able to learn more about what leadership qualities it takes to be a successful leader, and also how I might be able to fit into this program.
I really enjoyed reading the old newspapers and it was interesting to see what was in the news!
I really enjoy typing the newspapers because they are fun to read! It is intersting to learn about what they would report about in the 1900's.
I spent 4 hours transferring an old Genesee Newspaper into a word document. This was very interesting to read what was happening in the Palouse a long time ago.
